Travel, especially international travel, was always my destiny…having both parents employed in the airline industry – before and after I was born – set this in motion. Throughout my childhood, my parents proudly recounted their international experiences. In their airline days, my parents traveled to four continents – seeing sights such as the Acropolis in Athens and Christ the Redeemer Statue in Rio, as well as experiences such as riding the first bullet train in Tokyo and chartering a boat in the Caribbean with friends. My parents had great stories and I inherently knew early on that I too wanted to make travel experiences a priority in life.
As an airline brat, I was fortunate enough to visit Europe for the first time at age 12 where I was bit by the travel bug. I still remember being on top of the Eiffel Tower and standing in the Colosseum in Rome. These profound experiences at an early age were pivotal in building my “passport pride”… Since then, I have traveled to more than 30 countries on five continents as well as 33 U.S. States. The majority of my travels have been with friends and family but I have also visited many international locales as a solo traveler. From Russia to Ireland to Bali, my experiences abroad have made for a rich and interesting life as well as a broader perspective of the world.
I am forever grateful for the opportunity to experience luxury destinations and stay at some of the nicest properties in the world.
